Same-day pickups at home

North Beach is our home base, and Chesapeake Beach is less than a mile south on MD 261, Bayside Road. Need it gone today? We do same-day pickups in both towns. Call or text (443) 550-1259, and we can set the price and haul it away on the same visit. We work 6 AM to 10 PM every day, and you do not need to be home when access is arranged.

We have no price list. You get a free estimate from your photos, and we set the final price in person before any work starts. We charge a $150 minimum.

Homes just north of North Beach, over the county line, are in Anne Arundel County. We serve them too, as part of southern Anne Arundel County.

The homes here

North Beach is a small waterfront town with a beach, a boardwalk and a fishing pier. Chesapeake Beach opened as a resort in June 1900, with a railway that ran from Washington, D.C. Over the next century it turned into a town of year-round homes.

The older part of Chesapeake Beach has small and mid-sized shoreline houses on a street grid. Richfield Station, Chesapeake Village and Bayview Hills came later, with curved streets and cul-de-sacs. Windward Key is a townhouse community on the water.

In an older cottage or a townhouse, a couch may have to come down narrow stairs or around a tight turn. We do that carrying. Show us the stairs and the path to where the truck can park in your photos, so the estimate is accurate.

After high water

Both towns sit on the bay, and both plan for tidal and storm flooding. Their joint flood planning in 2020 and 2021 named the bay, Fishing Creek, tidal marshes and a high water table as risks. Chesapeake Beach’s 2020 flood plan lists Kellam’s Field, Fishing Creek Marina and low parts of Bayside Road among its problem spots.

After high water, a basement or ground floor can be full of soaked furniture, mattresses and boxes. Send photos, and point out anything wet or moldy. We review the conditions at the in-person quote and may turn down work that is unsafe.
