About these terms

Bay Bravo Junk Removal is operated by Bay Bravo, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company based in North Beach, Maryland. In these terms, “Bay Bravo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bay Bravo, LLC.

These terms cover your use of baybravo.com and our junk removal and material delivery services. By using this website, requesting a quote, or agreeing to a job, you agree to the terms that apply to that activity. The price and scope we agree on in person before work starts, plus these terms, form the agreement for your job. Requesting a quote does not book a job or commit you to buy services. Our quotes include a link to these terms.

Our services and service area

We provide junk pickups, cleanouts, and light demolition for homes, businesses, and government agencies. We also deliver bulk material such as mulch, topsoil, gravel, sand, and firewood. The work included in your job is the scope we agree on in person before work starts.

We serve Southern Maryland from North Beach. Work farther away is considered on request. The travel charge below applies to any job more than 30 driving miles from North Beach, inside or outside our usual service area.

Estimates and quotes

An estimate is the price we send you based on photos or a description of your items. It is free and not binding. Your quote is the final price we give you in person before work starts.

If the job is materially different from the photos or description, we give you a revised price. You must agree to the revised scope and price before we begin the changed work.

Estimates and quotes expire 30 days after we give them to you.

Prices and extra charges

The following minimum and extra charges apply to removal jobs:

  • We charge a $150 minimum per job. It covers the fuel, dump fees and labor that even the smallest pickup takes.
  • Travel is $2 per mile, one way, for each driving mile past 30 miles from North Beach. This charge is included in your estimate and quote.
  • Stairs are $25 for each major appliance carried up or down stairs.
  • Long carry is $25 for every 50 feet between the items and the truck.

We tell you about these charges before work starts.

There is no separate assessment or call-out fee. Coming to your location to look at the work and give you the final price is part of the job. If you decide not to go ahead at that price, you owe us nothing.

Discounts

We take $25 off the agreed price for customers 65 and older. Ask for it when we quote.

When someone you refer completes a job with us, they get $25 off that job and you get $25 off your next job.

Only one discount applies to each job. Discounts come off the agreed price.

Payment

Same-day work

You pay 100% of the agreed price before work begins. There is no deposit.

Later appointments

We take a 20% deposit on site to hold the date. You pay the remaining 80% on the scheduled day before work begins. The deposit counts toward the total price of your job.

Business and government accounts

Businesses and government agencies may pay by purchase order and invoice instead of the same-day or deposit terms above. We invoice after the work is done. Payment is due 30 days after the invoice date. If you need a different arrangement, ask before work starts. We are always willing to work with you.

Payment methods

We accept cash, checks handed to us in person, and credit or debit cards. Jobber Payments, powered by Stripe, processes card payments on site or through the online invoice. We never see or store full card numbers. We do not take payments on this website.

We do not charge sales tax on our junk removal service.

Cancellation and refunds

All sales are final once your cancellation period ends. After that, payments are non-refundable, including payment for completed work.

Your legal cancellation period

Maryland and federal law let you cancel a job until midnight of the third business day after the day you approve your quote. Your deadline is written on the Notice of Cancellation on your quote. A business day is every day except Sunday and federal holidays, so Saturdays count. This right comes from the FTC Cooling-Off Rule, 16 CFR Part 429, and the Maryland Door-to-Door Sales Act, Md. Code, Com. Law § 14-301 et seq. It applies to same-day and scheduled jobs.

How to cancel

To cancel, sign and return the Notice of Cancellation on your quote. You may also send us any other written notice, email contact@baybravo.com, or call (443) 550-1259.

Refunds during the cancellation period

If you cancel within the 3-business-day period, we refund all payments within 10 business days after we receive your cancellation notice.

After the cancellation period

Your cancellation period ends on the date written on your Notice of Cancellation. After that, the sale is final: we do not refund payment for completed work, and the 20% deposit on a scheduled job holds your date and is not refunded if you cancel. You never owe the remaining 80% for a job you cancel.

If Bay Bravo cancels

If Bay Bravo cancels or cannot attend, we refund everything you paid for that job.

Items we do not take

We do not accept hazardous or regulated waste, including:

  • Oil-based paint and solvents.
  • Fuels and oils.
  • Chemicals and pesticides.
  • Unknown liquids.
  • Asbestos.
  • Propane and other pressurized tanks.
  • Medical or biohazard waste.
  • Ammunition and explosives.

We also do not take tires. Do not conceal prohibited materials inside bags, boxes, or other items. You remain responsible for arranging lawful disposal of items we do not accept.

Your responsibilities

By authorizing removal, you confirm that you own the items or have the owner’s permission and legal authority to dispose of them.

Identify the items we are to remove. Clearly mark or separate anything that must stay, including personal belongings inside furniture or containers. Tell us about any uncertainty before removal begins.

Provide safe access to the items and identify a lawful place for the truck to park. Tell us about stairs, carry distances, access restrictions, and hazards before work begins. Disclose hazardous contents, unstable structures, or other conditions that could affect safe removal.

Items outside the agreed scope and items we cannot lawfully or safely accept remain your responsibility. If an item within the agreed scope was missed, contact us so we can address it.

Before we leave, check the truck and confirm that everything loaded is meant to go. When we leave your property, everything on the truck is considered approved by you for disposal, recycling, donation, or destruction. We cannot return it, and we are not responsible for items that were loaded and approved this way.

Material delivery

We deliver mulch, compost, topsoil, fill dirt, gravel, crushed stone, sand, firewood, and other bulk material. We can supply the material, or we can pick up material you bought and bring it to you.

For a delivery, the price and order we agree on by phone or text take the place of the in-person quote.

When you buy the material yourself, your order is between you and the supplier. We haul what the supplier loads. The supplier is responsible for the type, amount, and quality of the material.

You choose where we dump the load. Show us the spot or mark it before we arrive. The section “Unsafe conditions and refusal of work” applies to the drop spot and the route to it.

Before we arrive, tell us about septic tanks and drain fields, sprinkler heads, underground lines, and anything else buried along the route or under the drop spot. We are not responsible for damage to buried items you did not tell us about.

A loaded truck and trailer can mark or crack driveways and rut lawns. We are not responsible for that damage on the route and at the spot you chose, unless we fail to use reasonable care.

We dump the material in one pile. If you ask, we spread it.

Once we dump it, we cannot take delivered material back.

Unsafe conditions and refusal of work

We may refuse or stop work if lifting, access, or conditions are unsafe, or if we discover undisclosed hazards or prohibited materials. We will explain the issue before agreeing to any change in the work. We do not proceed with changed work or a revised price without your agreement.

If we refuse or stop work, we refund any payment for agreed work we did not do, and never less than the law requires.

What happens to your items

We try to donate, recycle, or recover scrap where practicable. The condition of the items and the receiving facility’s acceptance rules determine what is possible. Donation, recycling, and scrap recovery are not guaranteed. We lawfully dispose of items that cannot be diverted.

Once we leave your property, the items belong to us to donate, recycle, or otherwise lawfully dispose of or destroy. They cannot be returned. Cancelling a job entitles you to a refund of what you paid, not to the return of items already hauled. Remove anything you want to keep before we load it.

Photos

We use photos you send to prepare quotes and understand the job. With your permission, we may take photos on site to document the work and the condition of items or property. After a drop-off, we send you photos of your items at the disposal, donation, or scrap site, along with the facility’s receipt. We use photos for marketing only with your separate permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle photos and other personal information.

Property damage and limits on liability

We take reasonable care when removing items. Tell us about fragile surfaces and known property conditions before work begins. Contact us if you believe our work caused damage so we can review what happened.

We are not responsible for ordinary wear that occurs despite careful removal. We are also not responsible for hidden or pre-existing damage unless we caused or worsened it by failing to use reasonable care.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from a job is limited to the total price paid or payable for that job.

This limit and the exclusions in these terms do not apply to our negligence causing death or personal injury, our gross negligence, our willful misconduct, or any liability that the law does not allow us to limit. They do not limit your statutory consumer rights or any refund required by law.

Text messages

You may call or text (443) 550-1259. We use texts to reply about your request and job, including quotes, scheduling, and job updates. Message frequency varies with your job. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to stop text messages or HELP for help. Any clear request to stop works, whatever words you use. You may also ask us to stop by calling or emailing us. Texting is not a condition of buying our services.

We do not currently send marketing texts. If we do in the future, we will send them only to people who gave a separate, affirmative written opt-in, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe. A pre-checked box is not consent. Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of buying our services.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Using this website

Acceptable use

Use the website and quote form only for lawful purposes. Do not submit false requests, upload material you have no right to share, send malicious software, interfere with the website, or attempt unauthorized access to it.

Website content

The text, images, logos, and other content on this website belong to Bay Bravo or their respective owners. You may view the website and keep a copy of these terms or other information for your personal use. Other use of protected content requires the owner’s permission unless the law permits it.

Third-party services and links

Our quote request form is provided by Jobber. The website may also link to third-party websites or services. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of their services. We do not control their content or availability.

Website availability

We provide this website “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors. This website disclaimer does not change our obligations for an agreed job or limit your statutory rights.

Governing law and venue

Maryland law governs these terms, subject to applicable federal law. Unless the law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these terms or our services will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Calvert County, Maryland. This does not stop either of us from bringing a claim in a Maryland District Court small claims action where that court has jurisdiction.

Entire agreement, severability, and changes

The price and scope we agree on in person before work starts, plus these terms, are the entire agreement for your job. Any later agreed change to the scope or price becomes part of that agreement. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the updated date. Changes do not alter a job already agreed to unless you and Bay Bravo agree to the change.
