Who we are and what this policy covers

Bay Bravo Junk Removal is operated by Bay Bravo, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company based in North Beach, Maryland. We refer to the business as Bay Bravo, we, us, or our. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through baybravo.com, quote requests, communications, and our junk removal services.

It covers information we handle about website visitors and prospective, current, and former customers. Third-party services, including the Jobber request form and social media platforms, also have their own privacy policies. Our Terms of Service explain the terms for our website and jobs.

Information we collect

Information you provide

The request a quote form is provided by Jobber. It collects the information you submit, including:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and contact preference.
  • The service address and preferred service dates and times.
  • A description of the items and work, including quantities, stairs, parking, carry distance, and access restrictions.
  • Photos of the items, if you upload them.

We also receive information you provide by phone, text, email, or messages to our Facebook or Instagram pages. This can include your contact details, questions, and details about your request or job.

Send only information needed for your request. Do not submit payment details, identification documents, or other sensitive documents through the quote form, email, or text. Avoid including unrelated people or private documents in photos.

Job and payment records

We keep records of quotes, scheduling, agreed work, invoices, payments, and related communications. With your permission, we may take on-site photos to prepare a quote or document the work. Permission for job photos is separate from permission to use photos in marketing.

We accept cash, in-person checks, and credit and debit cards. We keep the records needed to document those payments. Card payments are processed by Jobber Payments, powered by Stripe. We receive payment confirmation and limited card details, such as card type and the last four digits. We do not see or store full card numbers. No payments are taken on this website.

Information collected automatically

Bay Bravo’s own pages do not load analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts, and do not set cookies. Cloudflare provides our website hosting and domain services. It may process standard server logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect its security.

The embedded Jobber form is third-party content. To display it, the request a quote page loads Jobber’s form script from Jobber’s servers. Jobber may collect technical information and use its own cookies when you load or use the form. The cookies section below explains this distinction.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your questions and prepare quotes.
  • Assess the work, arrange appointments, and carry out your job.
  • Send job-related communications, quotes, invoices, and payment information.
  • Record payments, maintain business accounts, and meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations.
  • Address follow-up questions, resolve disputes, and protect against fraud or misuse.
  • Respond to privacy requests and meet legal obligations.

Photos submitted for a quote are used to assess the work. We do not post them publicly. We use your job photos for marketing only with your separate permission.

Who we share information with

Service providers

We use the following providers for the purposes described here:

  • Jobber receives quote requests and photos and stores customer and job records. We use it for quotes, scheduling, invoices, the client hub, and customer emails.
  • Jobber Payments and Stripe process card payments.
  • Proton provides our business email service and handles messages and attachments sent to or from our mailbox.
  • Cloudflare provides website hosting and domain services and may process connection information for delivery and security.
  • Google Voice provides our business calls and texts and handles the contact information and communications needed for those services.
  • Meta handles information you send through its platforms if you message our Facebook or Instagram pages. Meta’s privacy policies apply to your use of those platforms.

These providers handle information in connection with their services under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Jobber’s handling of information through its form and services is described in the Jobber Privacy Policy.

Legal, safety, and business transfers

We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect safety, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal claims.

If the business is sold or reorganized, relevant customer records may transfer to the successor as permitted by law. Those records remain subject to this policy, including the restrictions on mobile information and text-messaging consent below.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We do not provide customer lists to others for their own marketing.

Marketing email and text messages

Marketing choices

We do not currently send marketing emails or marketing texts. If we do in the future, we will send them only to people who have affirmatively opted in. Marketing texts would require a separate, affirmative written opt-in. Each marketing email will be identified as an advertisement, include our valid postal mailing address, and include a way to unsubscribe. Each marketing text will include a way to unsubscribe. We will honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.

The Jobber form may display a pre-checked marketing box. We do not treat a pre-checked box as consent to marketing. Marketing consent is not a condition of requesting a quote or purchasing services.

You can also tell us your marketing preferences by emailing contact@baybravo.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary communications about a request or job.

Texts about your request or job

When you text (443) 550-1259 or ask us to contact you by text, we use your number to reply about your request or job. These communications may concern quotes, scheduling, or job updates. Message frequency varies with your request or job. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Any clear request to stop works, whatever words you use. You can also call or email us for help or to ask us to stop texting. We honor these requests promptly. Asking us to text you is not a condition of requesting a quote or buying our services. You can communicate with us by phone or email instead. See our Terms of Service for the text-messaging terms.

We do not sell mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data or consent. The following restrictions apply to sharing that information:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

This does not prevent limited disclosures to service providers and carriers needed to deliver your messages, disclosures required by law, or the transfer of records to a successor as described above, who must honor these restrictions. None of these exceptions permits sharing for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.

Cookies and Do Not Track

Bay Bravo does not track your online activity across other websites. Our own pages do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because we do not engage in that tracking.

The Jobber form is different from Bay Bravo’s own pages. Jobber and its providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about activity over time and across websites, as described in the Jobber Privacy Policy. Bay Bravo does not control those third-party technologies or their responses to Do Not Track signals.

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies may affect the Jobber form. You can request a quote by phone or email instead.

How long we keep information

We keep records as long as needed to quote, carry out, bill, and account for your job and to meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations. When the records are no longer needed for those purposes, we delete them or remove identifying information.

There is no single retention period for every type of record. You can ask us to delete information as explained below. We may need to keep records that the law requires us to retain.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle and the size of our business. We also rely on the security measures of the service providers that store or transmit information for us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If a security breach affects personal information, we will investigate and provide any required notices to affected individuals and authorities in accordance with Maryland law and other applicable law.

Your choices and requests

Email contact@baybravo.com to ask for access to information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, or to request deletion. Describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records, such as the email address or service address used for your job.

We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Do not send sensitive identification documents unless we have discussed a suitable way to verify your request.

We will review your request and explain any information we need to retain. This may include records needed to complete an ongoing job, account for payments, meet legal requirements, or resolve a legal claim. We may keep a limited record of an opt-out request so we can honor your choice.

You may choose not to provide information, but we may be unable to prepare a quote or perform a job without the details needed for that work. You can use phone or email instead of the online form.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us. If we learn that we hold such information, we will delete it.

California and other residents

The disclosures and request process in this policy apply to visitors and customers wherever they live, including California residents. You may contact us to review or correct information you submitted using the process above. This policy does not limit any privacy protections that apply to you under the law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on this page and changing the updated date shown above. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
