Appliance removal

Washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters, carried out and hauled away.

Bay Bravo carries old washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers and water heaters out of homes across Southern Maryland and hauls them away. Send photos through our quote form for a free estimate, and you get the final price in person before any work starts.

What we take

We pick up major appliances from the kitchen, laundry room, basement, garage and yard:

  • Washers and dryers
  • Stoves and ranges
  • Dishwashers
  • Water heaters
  • Microwaves and other small appliances
  • Refrigerators, freezers, window AC units and dehumidifiers
  • And more. Just give us a call at (443) 550-1259.

Fridges, freezers, window AC units and dehumidifiers hold refrigerant, so we look before we commit. Send photos of the front and back of each one. We confirm from those photos, before the visit, whether we can take it.

Old furniture can go on the same trip. See furniture removal. For a full basement or garage, see our cleanouts.

How the job goes

  1. Call or text (443) 550-1259, or send photos of each appliance and the way out through the quote form. Tell us if you need it gone today.
  2. We reply with a free estimate.
  3. At the visit, you get the final price in person. Work starts only after you agree to it.
  4. We carry each appliance out, up the basement stairs or down from an upper floor, and load it on our truck.
  5. You check the truck before we leave, because nothing comes back once we drive off.

We donate usable items when a charity accepts them. Scrap metal goes to facilities that accept it, when it qualifies. We lawfully dispose of the rest.

What it costs

There is no price list. The estimate from your photos is free, and the in-person quote that sets the final price is free and carries no obligation. If you turn that price down, you owe nothing.

We charge a $150 minimum. Our terms have the full pricing details.

What to tell us

Include these in your request:

  • A photo of each appliance, and photos of the way out
  • Stairs, tight turns, narrow doors and how close the truck can park
  • Whether a gas line, a water line or hardwired power still connects it
  • Whether a water heater is gas or electric
  • Your address, whether you need it gone today or on a later day, and whether you will be home

Before we arrive, unplug and empty each appliance. Defrost a fridge or freezer so it does not leak on your floors, and leave its cooling lines intact. If an old and a new washer sit side by side, mark the one that stays.

Why homeowners call us

A washer, a range or a water heater is heavy, and a basement stair is a hard place to move one. We do the lifting and the loading. You do not need a truck, a dolly or a helper.

Need it gone today? We do same-day pickups. We work 6 AM to 10 PM every day, including evenings and weekends. You do not need to be home for the pickup when access is arranged. Bay Bravo is veteran-owned and runs one truck out of North Beach.

Areas we cover

We haul appliances from North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, Calvert County, St. Mary’s County, Charles County, southern Anne Arundel County and southern Prince George’s County. Jobs run up to about 45 miles from North Beach, and we consider work farther away on request. Annapolis is case by case.

Common questions

Do you take refrigerators and freezers?

Send photos first. Refrigerators, freezers, window AC units and dehumidifiers hold refrigerant, so we confirm from your photos before the visit whether we can take yours.

Can you get a washer and dryer out of the basement?

Yes. We carry them up the basement stairs and out to the truck. Show the stairs in your photos so your estimate is accurate.

Do I need to disconnect the appliance first?

Unplug it and empty it. Tell us in your request if a gas line, a water line or hardwired power still connects it, so we know before the visit.

Do you take water heaters?

Yes. Tell us whether it is gas or electric, and show where it sits and the path out in your photos.

Can you take my old washer and dryer today?

Yes. We do same-day pickups. Call or text (443) 550-1259 with photos of each appliance, and we come out today.
